Responsibilities
- Determine software specific functional and non-functional requirements
- Meet the highest level of operational stability and security for new software delivered into production
- Ensure timely application readiness by working closely with our development & infrastructure teams, change & project management teams
- Coordinate our clients specific packaging, infrastructure requirements and application issues with the external vendors
- Conduct application specific (infrastructure & security) data-gathering activities in connection with audit and risk management requirement.ú
- Proactively support business analysts and project managers to identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional application requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as software engineer
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux (RHEL) operating systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (you know how to figure things out)
- Experience in Web and DB technologies (mainly WebSphere, Tomcat, Oracle, DB2)
- Good scripting skills, mainly Shell, Perl and Rexx
- Solid background in system architecture, business continuity management and network design
- Knowledge of financial messaging standards SWIFT FIN, MX
