We are looking for an experienced Senior Experience Designer specializing in UX Design in Shanghai to make the team stronger. As part of EPAM’s Digital Strategy & Experience Design team, Senior Experience Designers are expected to play a key role in creating the design solutions that we bring to our clients. This person should have a strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently generate and deliver clear and organized UX deliverables with little to no oversight. A qualified candidate should also be comfortable interfacing with and presenting works to clients throughout the duration of the project. Finally, they must have a proven desire to grow, to constantly challenging themselves to learn new skills and prove able to refine and evolve their aesthetic and practices over time.

Responsibilities
- Provide constructive feedback and project-level guidance to Designers and Associate Designers
- Provide constructive feedback and project-level guidance to Designers and Associate Designers
- Produce high quality design deliverables with strong attention to detail
- Conceptualize and execute a design with limited or no oversight and sees it through to project completion
- Demonstrate a good understanding of UX design, content strategy & technology platforms
- Collaborate closely with other disciplines
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization, strong time management, and reacting quickly to client and project changes
- Work with project management to plan deliverables, establish timelines, and estimate efforts for various project types
- Meet deadlines and work with the design leadership to understand and prioritize workload
- Receive and respond to constructive feedback from design leadership
- Further the practice of Experience Design within EPAM by sharing knowledge and updating the team on industry advances
Requirements
- BFA/BA/BS in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction or related field (or other formal training)
- 5+ years of professional studio/agency experience (interactive agency experience is preferred)
- Expert knowledge in Design & Prototyping Tools (e.g Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Protopie, Invision, Framer, Principle, or similar tools)
- Upper Intermediate (CEFR B2) or higher level of spoken and written English
- Has a solid understanding of the design process and how it fits into an overall experience design approach that includes content strategy, user experience, and front-end development
- Has a strong portfolio demonstrating excellent research skills, prototyping and strategic thinking
- Has strong communication skills with the ability to present internally, as well as to clients when needed

- Working experience in the automotive industry – especially within design
- Working experience in global environment where colleagues, stakeholders and onsite client team are based in different locations, be able to cope with differences in culture, and time zones
