Project description
- The ideal candidate in EPAM for a Senior Software Engineer position must be able to demonstrate at least 4 years of relevant working experience in, at least, 3 projects throughout the SDLC process responsible for designing, developing and supporting a team according to the customer needs
- EPAM is looking for a candidate able interested in becoming a Big Data Engineer. We are looking for a Senior Engineer with strong skills in either Python or Java to join our team and be trained into our Big Data practice
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in either Java or Python backend development
- Strong understanding of API integration and development
- At least 1+ year working on cloud solutions
- Experience with end to end unit testing
- Strong understanding of software development design patterns
- CI/CD working experience (Git, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, SonarQube)
Nice to have
- Big Data development experience
- Experience using Apache Beam as data transformation engine
- Scala development experience
- Experience on Data Warehousing and ETLs
