Responsibilities
- Develop high quality, maintainable code for mission critical system
- Analyze business and technical requirements
- Improve current and develop new features on multitude of microservices
- Collaborate with customer and teams in other locations on daily basis
- Work closely with senior engineers, PMs, BAs and business users (clients) in order to find best possible technical solution for the project/available requirements
Requirements
- Strong experience as Java Software Developer
- Very good programming skills
- Solid knowledge of Java
- Knowledge of Kafka
- Solid experience in working with Spring
- Experience in building tools such as Ant/Ivy or Gradle
- Strong analytical skills
- Basic UNIX/Linux user experience
- Responsible, self-motivated team player
- Great teamwork skills
- Pragmatic approach to software development
- Attention to software quality
- Good communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Financial Services background, FIX protocol knowledge
- Advanced level of English
- Understanding of multithreading in Java
- Experience with networking in Java
- Positive improvement-oriented attitude
