We are currently looking for a Tester with Automated Testing in Java expertise to join our team.
Our client is an information and data provider working in Financial industry with headquarters in London, UK.
Since the project is tasked with automatic monitoring of data quality, the quality of the project itself is critical.
QC is an application which is working as a real-time data processor, monitoring the price streams of hundreds of thousands of financial instruments and identifies the price anomalies on the fly. It is built completely from the ground up and is intended to replace existing legacy system used by the customer.
The application is currently is at the early stage, has just passed and MVP phase and the member of QA development team will be able to contribute to its further design and development. It is a rear opportunity to really make a change, contribute personal talent and knowledge to something new, which is built using the most recent technologies – in both Engineering and Data Science areas.
The new team member will be a part of QA team, responsible for designing and implementing automatic tests in Java, testing the backend and frontend parts of the application, working closely with colleagues from Data Science and engineering teams.

Responsibilities
- Ensure execution of test strategy
- Prepare test cases
- Implement auto tests for front-end and back-end systems, including integration
Requirements
- 5 years working as a Java Test Automation Engineer
- Experience with creating automated quality gates for CI/CD process, preferably on AWS
- Experience with testing microservices integration using automated tests
- Some experience with End-To-End testing, including React-based frontend
- Jira, Confluence
- Ideally:
- DevOps experience (Git, CI etc.)
- Docker, Kubernetes
Nice to have
- Financial services industry experience
- Previous experience in Anomaly Detection
- Work with Big Data projects
- Experience with AWS CodePipeline, Terraform
- TestRails
