What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement a proactive internal communications plan to support a communication strategy consistent with a hyper-growth company with a geographically diverse employee audience;
  • Coordinate global employee newsletter; create original articles and edit contributed articles;
  • Serve as main point of contact for content teams to determine the best communications strategies for internal company communication channels, including but not limited to intranet portal, internal social network, executive email communications and video-content management;
  • Provide internal communications support to teams across the company;
  • Support cultural changes through communications and internal activities to ensure consistency of messaging and alignment with business goals;
  • Measure effectiveness of internal campaigns and channels and provide recommendations to department leaders to optimize communications flow, message integration and channels;
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to deliver crisis/issues communication plans targeted to internal audiences.

What You Have

  • Passionate about storytelling and highly skilled in written and verbal communications – writes communications people want to read;
  • Excellent editor and proofreader;
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to develop ideas into executable plans;
  • Able to distill complicated, technical messages into easy-to-understand language;
  • Shows initiative and ability to manage time, prioritize multiple and concurrent tasks and quickly produce results under tight deadlines. Must be deadline and detail-oriented while simultaneously being flexible and able to meet sudden and unpredictable needs;
  • Good knowledge of internal/employee communications best practices; committed to enhancing the effectiveness of employee communications;
  • Diplomatic and comfortable giving constructive feedback while maintaining positive relationships;
  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a dynamic, high-performing team to drive toward common goals;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing required;
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in internal communications in global company, preferably for an IT services company;
  • Ability to analyze content and channel effectiveness;
  • Ability to work in a pressure driven, deadline oriented environment Excellent judgment, critical thinking and decision-making capabilities;
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment;
  • Results driven strategic thinker; ability to identify and prioritize key opportunities and implement change expediently;
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and work independently and as part of a team.
