Responsibilities

  • Build web applications with a focus on the client side;
  • Redesign UI's, implement new UI's with backend Java development if necessary;
  • Explore and design dynamic and compelling consumer experiences;
  • Write unit and integration tests.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge and understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required;
  • Advanced knowledge and experience on Java Core;
  • Experience working with enterprise frameworks, preferably JEE and/or Spring;
  • Experience with SQL databases and data modeling;
  • Able to understand UML diagrams;
  • Comfortable working on UNIX environments and shell scripting, though not necessarily an expert;
  • Understanding of design patterns;
  • Experience working on code collaboratively and with best practices for software development;
  • Understand basics about cryptography, handshake, SSL certificates.
