DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Support Engineer to make the team even stronger.

As a member of the Cloud Support team, you will be at the forefront of Cloud technologies for interacting with some of Private and Hybrid clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP). The people who are wicked smart, passionate about cloud computing, and who believe that a first-class support is crucial for the EPAM customer’s success, will surround you.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and provide support to the core Cloud services & infrastructure;
  • Troubleshoot AWS or GCP at the first level;
  • Perform basic support functions such as ticketing systems, root cause analysis, and task prioritization;
  • Automate routine tasks and build effective tools for their internal use;
  • Monitor Mission Critical systems and services.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in administration (complex distributed systems support is a plus);
  • Responsible, self-disciplined, and motivated;
  • Team player;
  • English writing/speaking A2+ and higher;
  • Basic IT knowledge in analysis & troubleshooting of networks/applications;
  • Maintenance and support experience, Linux administration;
  • Understanding of distributed computing environments;
  • Advanced work ethic and a positive attitude.

Nice to have

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with active listening;
  • Knowledge of Virtualization & Cloud platforms;
  • Scripting experience, preferably with a diversity of languages (at least two of: Bash, Python, Ruby).
