EPAM’s Financial Services Practice is looking for exceptionally talented people to join our team of world class engineers. Our clients are some of the world’s largest and most innovative banks, investment banks and wealth management institutions.

Project: Support and enhancement of the existing regulation and compliance system OATS (Order Audit Trail System)

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain ETL processes such as workflows, mappings, dimensions, fact and aggregates;
  • Build and maintain SQL scripts, workflows, tables, and ETL solutions to transform data;
  • Identify and implement improvement options for data storage and handling;
  • Build and maintain dashboards to present key metrics and help quantify the impact of various programs;
  • Monitor performance and implement the necessary infrastructure optimization;
  • Investigate unexpected results;
  • Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn quickly and complete large volumes of work with high quality;
  • Demonstrate outstanding collaboration, interpersonal communication and written skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

What You Have

  • Attention to details/appreciation of nuances in data;
  • 4 years of solid hands-on experience with SQL and Data Warehousing technologies;
  • Good Java knowledge;
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle;
  • Basic skills/experience working with Sybase;
  • Hands-on experience with design, development and support of ETL and data pipelines;
  • Strong design and development skills with meticulous attention to details;
  • Familiar with Agile software development practices and working in an Agile environment;
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, and proficiency in multitasking.
