Currently we are looking for a DevOps Architect for our Amsterdam office to make the team even stronger.
We are seeking Level 4-5 Linux Systems Engineer or Solution Architect (in the DevOps field) to help with building a development operations and a CI/CD solution for a large-scale, high-load microservices back-end.
Participate and, if necessary, lead the architecture design and adoption of a CI/CD solution in the organization;
Communicate across multiple stakeholders and development teams to promote best practices and approaches;
Ensure stability of the release cycle;
Lead an international group of engineers to release new versions of software, maintain the release automation.
Linux RHEL: maintenance and troubleshooting;
Docker; Docker-compose; K8s with hands-on experience;
Hands-on automation with Ansible and Python;
http and TLS communications;
Fluent communication in English;
Customer facing experience;
Ability to work with both engineers and middle management of different teams;
Analytical skills - a good candidate should be able to come up with a good solution in a situation when requirements are not given and the guidance is minimal.
Nice to have
Recent production experience;
Jenkins development declarative/scripted, shared libraries;
Python skills to create and maintain custom ansible modules, small automation scripts;
Terraform provisioning, CloudFormation templates;
AWS: EC2, ECS, S3, AWS Auto Scaling and more;
F5 load-balancers, monitoring and network troubleshooting;
Application performance monitoring and system alerting - Icinga, Grafana, alert manager.
