What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for the technical execution & delivery of solution by the development team;
  • Help the team understand the architecture, intended design and technical requirements, driving detailed design and immutable interface decisions, removing technical impediments and leading in code reviews and test automation;
  • Ensure all non-functional and technical requirements are met by the implementation (Automation, security, documentation, deployment, etc.);
  • Resolve design issues with Application/Lead Architect(s), lead in estimation and setting technical objectives;
  • Conduct reviews and critiques code and drive the team in continuous improvements, coding and testing standards;
  • Encourage and participate in experiments and spikes to foster innovation and adopting new technologies, tools, design patterns, and other technical improvements;
  • Lead in improving, protecting and focusing the team to maintain high productivity and frequent delivery of working software;
  • Lead and help the team manage dependencies, technical debt, NFR’s, CI/CD pipeline, test environment;
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to the team.

What You Have

  • Cloud application development, including server-less and containerized in AWS;
  • Mastery of one or more languages such as Java, Go, Python or C++;
  • Micro services, loosely coupled architectures, domain-driven and object-oriented design;
  • Restful API’s, streaming, service orchestration/mesh, infrastructure as code;
  • Agile DevOps model with continuous integration and deployment (e.g. Jira, Gitlab, Jenkins);
  • Experience Building highly available, scalable, secure, compliant systems.
