Currently we are looking for an Instructional Designer/Training Content Developer for our Minsk office to make the team even stronger.
Instructional Designer/Training Content Developer works with subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver training to various audiences on a wide range of topics. Instructional Designer works in EPAM e-Learning Team and, together with SMEs, does or assists in the following: - Designing new or amending existing outlines of training projects (first of all online courses and occasionally programmes, webinars, etc.) - Developing new or amending existing content for global technical and soft skills courses at EPAM - Writing new or amending existing scripts for online courses - Content design and redesign concerns online courses on primarily software engineering topics and a smaller portion of soft skills themes.
Design new or amend existing online, instructor-led, and blended training materials for individual courses and comprehensive curricula; including developing/amending learning objectives, scripts, assessments, and suggesting activities;
Create engaging learning activities, that meet instructional objectives and support participant learning by incorporating adult learning theories and facilitating real-world practice;
Adapt instructional materials created for one format to another format (usually this is adapting materials from face-to-face to e-learning);
Upload newly developed or amended educational content to authoring tools (primarily Articulate Storyline) to have an interactive online course as an end-product;
Provide comprehensive instructional design support to course authors who are usually software engineers and other categories of technical professionals.
Ability and desire to combine/develop two major types of skills: the soft skill of educational content development/amendment and the technical skill of uploading this information to software and developing an interactive online course;
Experience in developing educational programmes, courses, training, etc. from scratch: the outline, learning objectives, and content;
Strong technical writing skills: must be able to create coherent, concise documents from large volumes of technical information, and have strong editorial skills;
Experience in editing grammar, spelling, punctuation and other mechanics of style;
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form strong relationships at all levels across the organization;
Flexible and able to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment;
Excellent English speaking and writing, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
