Currently, we are looking for a Lead QA Automation Engineer for our Sofia office to make the team even stronger.
Lead and develop a team of up to 10 QA engineers;
Work with the team in the definition of automation coverage and prioritization for automation scripts;
Create and review test strategy, test documentation (including checklists and test cases), prioritize, and estimate tasks;
Analyze the new solution’s impact and appropriate regression testing.
At least 2 years of team management experience;
Minimum 4, ideally 6 years of testing experience with experience of preparing test documentation including test plans, test scripts, defect reports and progress reports;
Proven experience of working in short release cycles, agile testing and risk based testing approach;
Thorough knowledge of the principles of functional and non-functional testing and a track record of innovation in testing;
Design and Execute Test Scenarios, Test Conditions and Test Cases and make sure the Test Coverage is 100%;
At least 3 years of software test automation experience using an industry standard test automation tool;
Knowledge of modern test automation techniques;
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Octopus, Jenkins, Team City, etc;
Knowledge of version control with GIT or SVN and a good understanding of branching and merging;
Experience in BDD with tools such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, JBehave, etc;
Experience in working with Selenium WebDriver;
Expertise in testing Web services and API’s;
Perform test automation tasks, solve test automation issues by standard capabilities of test automation tools;
Strong written and verbal communication in English;
Constructive criticism, analytical mindset and high attention to detail;
Team player, has empathy and good interpersonal skills;
Unix/Linux knowledge with experience in log analysis;
SQL knowledge and have worked on Sybase / other RDMS databases.
Nice to have
Practical OOP knowledge (e.g. Java, C#, etc.);
Agile methodology experience is a plus;
ISTQB certificate is a plus.
