Currently we are looking for a Project Manager for our Amsterdam office to make the team even stronger.
As an EPAM Project Manager, you will be working closely with a growing team and support engineers to deliver of integration and testing services for enterprise level customers in a complex environment – successfully and on time.
Project manager will be responsible for managing all tasks and resources on projects – including client and third party vendor resources. The successful candidate is expected to have strong management, analysis and communication skills, to be stress tolerant. It will be a key role that will understand customer's goals and business objectives and proactively cooperate and engage stakeholders through the project lifecycle in order to evolve, optimize and improve customer's business.
Perform project planning for assigned projects and schedules workload;
Ensure, with co-operation of the Resource Managers, appropriate allocation of resources to meet the schedule;
Manage concise definition of scope across the project(s);
Supervise assigned projects by monitoring status and deliverables;
Define and lead communication activities to create transparent reporting and escalation structures;
Act as front-line contact on all project-related issues;
Understand primary business objectives, articulating and implementing associated metrics and measurement and reporting processes;
Ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met on time and with quality;
Resolve and/or escalate issues, as required;
Provide technical solution and business solution understanding.
At least 3-5 years of project management experience;
Background in managing complex projects within the engineering development environment;
Ability to perform project manager's activities and provide their supervision during initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closing project phases as well as to be able to choose an appropriate project management methodology and set it up on a project;
Proven track record of leading implementations, on time and within budget;
Experience in client-facing role such as consulting, project management, or process improvement while serving as advocate for client’s needs;
Experience in working in a highly-matrixed environment, effectively influencing and persuading others to achieve goals defined in client growth strategy;
Experience in working across various verticals within products and servicing including digital, technology, presales, etc;
Combination of technical knowledge and leadership skills;
Technical background in software product development industry;
Fluent English (B2+) is a must and Dutch is a plus;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Knowledge of ITIL and PMI best practices is a plus;
Experience in Telecom industry is an advantage.
