Currently we are looking for an ETL/PowerCenter Informatica Developer with Java for our Zurich office to make the team even stronger.
Develop programming specifications. Design, code and unit test application code using SDLC (Waterfall, and Agile is a plus) best practices;
Communicate timely status, including any potential risks/issues to the appropriate teams to ensure that assignment releases are managed appropriately and that completed assignments are of the highest quality;
Participate in the application technical design process;
Complete estimates and work plans as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks;
Create technical system documentation and ensure that this documentation remains current throughout all phases of the SDLC;
Build partnerships across the application, business and infrastructure teams.
Min. three years’ experience in Informatica PowerCenter;
Min two years’ experience in Java development;
Min. three years’ experience in ETL and data conversion development;
Min. two years’ experience in Oracle and RDBMS;
Min. two years’ experience in PL/SQL and SQL, Oracle, Flat files and XML processing using Informatica;
Proven experience with data analysis tools, such as TOAD, SQL Plus, and SQL developer;
Basic UNIX/Linux knowledge to support day to day Informatica development & processing;
Proven experience with ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter;
Proven experience with analyzing, designing, and implementing technical solutions;
Proven experience with testing and debugging ETL code;
Proven experience with documenting Source-To-Target mapping, Technical Design and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP);
Familiar with the Agile framework and software development lifecycle process – not a must;
Good interpersonal and communication skills;
3 - 5 years of experience in systems analysis, design or programming and the associated; development methodologies with medium size or medium level complexity projects;
Banking sector and/banking regulatory sector exposure is a plus.
