Currently we are looking for a Delivery Manager for our Zurich office to make the team even stronger.
Form and support any internal and external processes that will help increase software delivery efficiency and quality;
Establish a strategy of continuous delivery risk management that enables proactive decisions and actions throughout the delivery life cycle;
Be accountable for the technical leadership regarding the delivery. Ensuring a sound and future proof architecture is planned and the implementation meets the technical quality standards;
Coordinate the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work;
Deliver customer projects successfully;
Ensure that projects are delivered in line with EPAM process and methodologies;
Manage customer expectations and relationship, address customer issues during an engagement in cooperation with the Account Manager;
Prepare estimations on time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects; develop project plan incorporating all project variables;
Establish criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs;
Assure governance of processes in delivery management and production as per selected delivery model;
For the top management and client - act as a single point of responsibility over any delivery related matters, including escalations, upsells, ramp downs etc;
Measure and improve delivery productivity;
Build delivery timelines for multiple streams, analyzing internal/external dependencies.
Minimum 5-10 working experience in IT service delivery domain; 3 years of which should be at senior project/delivery management level;
Engineering background in Java, C++, .NET or another tech stack;
Profound experience in onshore, nearshore and offshore outsourcing and delivery models;
Strong experience working with distributed teams on the client side;
Understanding of Enterprise Architecture Patterns, able to read and validate software architecture documentation;
Experience with the following software development processes: Agile, Scrum;
Experience in governing project delivery across the board of all stakeholders;
Experience and up-to-date knowledge of design and implementation of end-to-end solutions with Continuous Delivery/Deployment pipelines;
Ability to establish solid working relationships with clients, plus the ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team and to meet deadlines;
Advanced planning and management skills;
Hands on executing project with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) adopting processed to customer needs;
Fluent verbal and written English mandatory; German is a big plus.
