DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Delivery Manager for our Brussels office to make the team even stronger.

As an EPAM Delivery Manager, you’ll be working closely with a team of support engineers, developers, architects to deliver of integration and testing services for enterprise level customers in a complex environment – successfully and on time.

Delivery Manager will be responsible for managing all tasks and resources on projects – including client and third party vendor resources. The successful candidate is expected to have strong management, analysis and communication skills, to be stress tolerant.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end solution delivery on the account(s);
  • Assure governance of processes in delivery management and production as per selected delivery model;
  • For the top management and client - act as a single point of responsibility over any delivery related matters, including escalations, upsells, ramp downs etc;
  • Take responsibility over resources needed for delivery - assure sound skills and seniority staffing according to the delivery roadmap;
  • Be accountable for the technical leadership regarding the delivery. Ensuring a sound and future proof architecture is planned and the implementation meets the technical quality standards;
  • Establish and manage long-term partnerships with the client(s);
  • Address client(s) issues and identifies and manages engagement risks;
  • Co-ordinate the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work;
  • Ensure that projects are delivered in line with EPAM process and methodologies;
  • Make sure that the customer executes their responsibilities on the engagements;
  • Build up delivery plan along with estimations on timeframes, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects;
  • Establish a strategy of continuous delivery risk management that enables proactive decisions and actions throughout the delivery life cycle;
  • Measure and improve delivery productivity;
  • Participate in the process of recruiting and hiring senior level candidates: e.g. Software Architects, Senior Project Managers, Senior Business Analysts, etc;
  • Help mentor and coach other delivery managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA or equivalent business experience is preferred);
  • Managing and working with offshore teams;
  • Account/engagement management experience;
  • 5+ years’ project management experience;
  • 5+ years’ experience working in consulting or outsourcing account/delivery management;
  • Strong understanding of software development;
  • Strong experience working with distributed teams on client side;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and planning skills;
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership and stakeholder management skills;
  • Self-motivated, multitasking, reliable to deliver on time, a quick-thinker, able to work in a fast-paced work environment;
  • Experience in mobile and integration projects;
  • Location either Brussels or Mechelen.
