DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer for our Amsterdam office to make the team even stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Review and propose continuous integration system solutions to be used by development teams;
  • Continuously monitor CI systems;
  • Design and propose improvements to existing CI system;
  • Propose and implement process automatization to streamline SW development and delivery process;
  • Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives;
  • Integrate applications in to most efficient system serving purpose defined by development teams;
  • Provide technical documentation on implemented solutions.

Requirements

  • Very good knowledge of various OS systems principles and Linux systems management;
  • Very good knowledge of Continuous Integration systems (Open Source and Commercial) – Jenkins would be preferable, experience with others is a benefit as well;
  • Good knowledge of available cloud computing solution (AWS);
  • Good knowledge of network protocols and systems security-related technology;
  • Very good knowledge of SW build automation tools and scripts (e.g. Automake, Make, Bash, Python, Perl and similar);
  • Working experience with remote SW developer’s teams, spread across world;
  • Experience in researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues.
