What You’ll Do

  • This is a Pre-Sales Engineering role (80-90%) which will require hands-on POC experience and may at times, require some Post-Sale activity (10-20%);
  • Position and present company solutions and technical proposals as the technical subject matter expert to sales prospects, existing customers and partners;
  • Serve as a technical point-of-contact and a trusted advisor for Account Managers, existing accounts and sales prospects;
  • Lead and support pre-sales demonstrations, technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts and benchmarks;
  • Pro-actively work with customer to gather architecture, design, and business requirements using these to develop and present company-based solutions to meet customer’s technical and business needs;
  • Manage relationships with sales prospects and customer technical teams, maintaining regular check-ins;
  • Assist Sales team members with technical account strategy;
  • Involve hands-on programming, analysis, debugging, communication, technical issues resolution and primary escalation point for pre-sale technical evaluation activities.

What You Have

  • At least total 12 years’ experience;
  • At least 7 years’ experience in Java software development is required;
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Spark;
  • At least 3 years’ experience Java (Threading, Concurrency), scala, Kafka, Github, Maven and Proficient with at least one application server such as Websphere, Tomcat, Weblogic. • Hands-on (coding & tools), technical, problem solver;
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a tech lead or architect;
  • Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills;
  • Frequent Travel required about 50-75%.
