DESCRIPTION


Visual and User Experience Designer integrates iconography, typography, color, space and texture together to help our users successfully navigate good-looking, usable and optimized web applications. Also, create designs to inspire, engage and excite end users for clients all around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers;
  • Illustrate design ideas using Adobe Ilustrator;
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets;
  • Build page navigation buttons and search fields;
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like;
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables);
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders;
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness);
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback;
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), or equivalent practical experience;
  • Experience designing outstanding web-based products for a consumer-oriented website and applications;
  • Excellent CSS and HTML skills; solid knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships;
  • Strong knowledge in design planning, how to capture client’s needs in a visual form;
  • Design process understanding;
  • Strong UX elements awareness (Color theory, Depth, Distribution, Design Concepts, Contrast);
  • Strong Photos manipulation skills (Adobe Photoshop);
  • Strong Vector creation, manipulation (Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape);
  • Mockups and wireframes (Low/High quality);
  • Prototyping and flow understanding;
  • User-focused design.

  • Standard design concepts (Flat, Vintage, Material Design);
  • Responsive Web Design;
  • Mobile (Native) UI/UX Design.
