Currently we are looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer for our Zurich office to make the team even stronger.
We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer who has worked primarily in the financial services industry or in the capital market environment.
Perform functional and non-functional testing (dev-level, injecting messages, analyzing);
Work independently with limited oversight;
Design and write test automation scripts using test automation frameworks;
Investigate problems in software as a result of testing;
Work with QA analysts and software developers to find solutions;
Be responsible for design the test automation approach together with the software architects;
Define the respective guidelines and standards;
Be part of the Agile Scrum teams and develop automatic tests on new or existing software;
Use the defined automation frameworks to build the test automation modules and write test scripts that do the testing.
B.S. or higher degree;
5+ years of experience in the field;
Attention to details, organized and clearly able to design a test automation approach;
Demonstrated track record as test automation engineer in the financial industry;
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, demanding and team-oriented environment;
Knowledge of Agile techniques and methodologies like: Scrum, SAFe, user stories, continuous integration and testing, pairing, automated testing, etc;
Fluent verbal and written English is mandatory;
Fluent German is a plus.
