Currently we are looking for a Supply Chain Operations Manager for our Katowice office to make the team even stronger.
Manage employee performance through clear communication, establishment of clear expectations/results target and supporting employee self-development;
Actively participate in supporting the development of future leaders—including coaching on driving results, self-development and growth into larger leadership roles;
Serve as a key point of contact for EPAM resources working on the team for EPAM related topics: performance, assessment, career management;
Understand and instill EPAM’s culture of service excellence.
Service delivery management:
Manage P&L of the contract and operational metrics;
Manage weekly status and performance reporting;
Consistently achieve unit’s performance and productivity goals, relying on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment when making decisions;
Partner with client and EPAM Team Leads on managing capacity and scheduling needs — including daily scheduling, focus on near and long-term talent calibration and development plans, and long-term staffing/leadership planning;
Develop strong working relationships with HAVI Operational Managers – be seen as a trusted and reliable partner and advisor for HAVI;
Stay closely aligned with EPAM’s account leadership and delivery management in the US and Poland;
Clearly understand HAVI value target’s and levers to establish and cascade objectives for the team, to ensure alignment between company, area and personal goals;
Ensure consistent communication between client and EPAM —by demonstrating and coaching to a variety of communication styles and settings, attentively listening to managers and employees, providing timely and helpful information and encouraging the expression of diverse opinions.
Develop and maintain expertise across all processes in scope of operations;
Identify and lead continuous performance improvement initiatives. Establish continuous improvement culture with the team;
Perform client satisfaction and QA activities – assessments and remediation;
Stay on top of relevant technology, industry, and functional trends as well as EPAM’s supply chain capabilities to establish and maintain personal credibility with the client.
SCM or related degree as part of education/qualification;
6-10 years of leadership experience, preferably within a demand/distribution/fulfillment environment and CPG/retail industry;
Proven track record implementing and managing 24/7 distributed operations with 50+ employees, including change management and top tier performance;
Prior experience in implementing and leading/sponsoring Lean initiatives as part of continuous improvements;
Ability to manage competing priorities, gather required data and present recommendations/business cases for action;
Past success in developing and promoting talent;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
Strong knowledge of SCM, demand and supply planning;
Knowledge of supply chain planning applications;
Ability to travel (around 2 weeks per quarter);
SCM certification is preferred (e.g. CPIM, CSCP etc.);
Experience managing one or more Supply Chain Shared Service Center (SC SSC) Towers;
Experience implementing service oriented self-sustaining organization/culture;
Able to develop cross-functional customer value-oriented teams (not hierarchical org.);
Able to dynamically manage capacity and talent to delivery service levels;
Clear understanding of metrics and levers of operational performance and value delivery;
Able to stay on top of best practices/tools in supply chain;
Able to add and sustain performance for multi-tower SSC;
Able to manage value/outcome delivery in value-based commercial model.
