Currently we are looking for a QA Analysts Team Leader with FIX Protocol for our Malaga office to make the team even stronger.


  • Manage the team:
    • Plan and coordinate team workload;
    • Monitor and correct team productivity;
    • Establish policies and procedures for on-boarding and supporting of trading connections;
    • Communicate with customer on daily basis, provide daily and weekly transparency;
    • Provide project planning.
  • Perform on-boarding new FIX connections to customer’s trading system:
    • Acquire all technical documentation from counterparties (brokers, exchanges, etc.);
    • Perform gap analysis between new connection specification and the specifications of customer’s trading system;
    • Produce technical specification for FIX on-boarding and support team or for development team or for trading system Vendor to implement the connection;
    • Perform acceptance testing according to this specification;
    • Coordinate with networking team and counterparties establishing the physical connectivity for both test and production connections;
    • Perform certification testing with counterparties as required by them;
    • Manage final rollout of the connection into production.
  • Support existing connections:
    • Proactively monitor/get from counterparties updated specifications and re-certify connections as needed;
    • Investigate connectivity issues (both logical and physical) in production and test environments;
    • Respond to connectivity-related tickets from end-users (production and testing environments).


  • Practical knowledge of FIX protocol (order flow and market data is a must);
  • 5+ years of experience working in BA or QA role in that area (capital markets, trading, FIX protocol);
  • 3+ years of experience leading the team of 5+ people, history of successfully delivered projects in the role of team leader;
  • Practical experience with passing FIX certification tests with brokers and exchanges, hands-on skills of FIX logs analysis and troubleshooting;
  • Experience in planning and coordination of work onboarding new and maintain existing trading connections;
  • Understanding of networking in the context of establishing physical connectivity for trading;
  • Experience in performing gap analysis in the context of FIX specifications and producing technical specifications for FIX connectivity implementation;
  • Experience in working directly with end customers/business and vendors, brokers, exchanges, production support and other teams;
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
