Currently we are looking for an Application Support Analyst for our Prague office to make the team even stronger.
A long-running project in EPAM systems ODC of one of a global investment bank is looking for a Support Analyst. Main function of the role is to be a key resource assisting developers in Prague-based credit risk development team, which manages several Risk regulatory capital systems. Core elements of the role include support of the non-production environments, investigating tools and processes and integrating them, environment management, tooling automation.
Investigate production/non-production technical problems/bugs and provide resolution;
Own problems and drive them to resolution via Jira;
Interact with development teams, peers to gather and analyze the problems/issues and deliver appropriate technical solutions, communicate with the key stakeholders;
Provide environment management and complete health checks;
Work closely with Dev team/infra teams to integrate new deployment process and strategies to meet our feature requirements;
Work on automation tasks related to deployment process and improvements;
Write technical documentation and share it within the team;
Adhere to bank’s technical standards and SDLC principles.
Hands-on tuning and troubleshooting experience as 3rd line support for complex systems;
Exposure to Agile and DevOps practices and approaches;
Knowledge of how applications are written, built, deployed and used by developers - such as Git/Bitbucket/TeamCity automation, etc. and configuration management using the same;
Solid communication and coordination skills, English B1+ and higher;
Administration and support of the Windows Server 2008 and up to 2016;
PowerShell scripting and related automation;
Database administration skills (MS SQL Server 2008 and up to 2016);
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a scientific discipline;
Basic knowledge of infrastructure and Windows administration, release management.
Nice to have
Basic knowledge of Python, ServiceNow, Jira, Autosys.
