Currently we are looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer for our Amsterdam office to make the team even stronger.
As part of the Pan-European Video [TV] Support team within the Support organization, you will provide advanced Operation/Maintenance support on the Video solutions such as Horizon, OTT, Recommendations, Remote Booking, Replay and UI Cloud on a Pan-European level. You will be managing the application support for these Video technologies, doing vendor management and dealing with escalations from different affiliates.
3-5 years+ of experience in Telecoms/ISP/TV;
Solid understanding and working knowledge of the OSI Model;
Reliable knowledge of network designs and Cisco network equipment configuration;
Linux/Unix/Windows server management;
Firewall management and IPsec VPN deployment experience;
Wireless network deployment experience;
Able to do deep analysis of issues down to wire level to reveal root causes.
