EPAM, recently named the #1 small technology company in the US by Forbes, is currently seeking a highly motivated Principal to establish, develop, market and build our business and capabilities within the Payments space. The successful candidate will possess deep knowledge and qualifications in Payments. They will have a successful track record of consulting on the trends, risks, and technology within Payments. They will develop and grow the capabilities of consultants in the practice; and keep partner relationships, capabilities, and IP current and relevant. The Principal will further leverage wider Financial Services Consulting capabilities, and wider EPAM capabilities, to maximize value delivered to our clients. The Principal is expected to allocate their efforts in consulting and generating opportunities in the Financial Services vertical; but they should additionally seek opportunities and revenue in other EPAM verticals as they develop.
Demonstrable track record of identifying, shaping and closing new Payments related consulting business and marketing capabilities, accelerators and solutions;
Extensive experience of Payments and authentication processes and technologies, with the ability to offer advice in the procurement and development of new systems as well as in reviewing existing systems' performance and efficacy;
Understanding of industry trends and the impact of change on industry players;
A minimum of twelve years of management consulting within a known firm or a combination of consulting and corporate;
Experience in shaping Business Consulting proposals and linking Payments capabilities to other consulting or engineering offerings;
Respond to RFPs, give presentations as necessary;
Qualify new project work and drive response initiatives to closure, maximizing revenue and strategic value for our organization;
Able to operate at the strategic level, yet remain close to the details to add value to potential clients;
Exceptional leadership/management skills and superb oral and written communication, with seasoned presentation skills;
Manage the Payments practice: recruit, retain and ensure that consultants remain motivated, up to date, and utilized;
Experience in building consulting practices and leveraging/utilizing firm wide skill sets;
Work to KPIs and targets agreed with management;
Sound business acumen; strategic skills; common sense;
Effectively communicate with other groups within EPAM;
