EPAM, recently named the #1 small technology company in the US by Forbes, is currently seeking a highly motivated Principal to establish, develop, market and build our business and capabilities in CFO/Finance Business Consulting. The successful candidate will have deep expertise and qualifications in accounting and finance functions. They will have a successful track record of consulting on the rules, regulations and processes of finance areas and financial control functions in both Financial Services companies (primarily) and non-FS firms. They will develop and grow the capabilities of consultants in the practice; and keep partner relationships, capabilities, and IP current and relevant. The Principal will further leverage wider Financial Services Business Consulting capabilities, and wider EPAM capabilities, to maximize value delivered to our clients. The Principal is expected to allocate their efforts in consulting and generating opportunities in the Financial Services vertical; but they should additionally seek opportunities and revenue in other EPAM verticals as they develop.


  • Demonstrable track record of identifying, shaping and closing new Finance consulting business and marketing Finance capabilities, accelerators and solutions;
  • Strong network of contacts within Finance consulting (Financial Services companies; and other target verticals);
  • Deep expertise of Finance functions, rules and regulations in FS and non-FS firms. Ability to empathize and understand the CFO function;
  • Strong understanding of the Finance consulting marketplace and associated products and accelerators;
  • Understanding of industry trends and the impact of change on industry players;
  • Experience in shaping Business Consulting proposals and linking Finance capabilities to other consulting or engineering offerings;
  • Respond to RFPs, giving presentations as necessary;
  • Qualify new project work and drive response initiatives to closure, maximizing revenue and strategic value for our organization;
  • Able to operate at the strategic level, yet remain close to the details to add value to potential clients;
  • Exceptional leadership/management skills and superb oral and written communication, with seasoned presentation skills;
  • Help to recruit, retain and ensure that consultants remain motivated, up to date, and utilized;
  • Work to KPIs and targets agreed with management;
  • Sound business acumen; strategic skills; common sense;
  • Effectively communicate with other groups within EPAM;
  • At a minimum, a four-year degree is required;
  • Able to travel as needed.
