Currently we are looking for an IT Support Technician for our Sofia office to make the team even stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Perform desktop support activities including debugging and diagnosing hardware and software issues;
  • Provide IT training for newcomers related with EPAM;
  • Maintain IT infrastructure and update the hardware inventory;
  • Provide remote hand support for the Global IT team of EPAM;
  • Maintain server room and monitor environment;
  • Generate regular reports to management and Global IT organization regarding IT activities;
  • Provide on call service in case of emergency situation (fire, flood, etc.) in the office;
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles;
  • Rapidly establish a good working relationship with staff and other professionals, e.g., software developers;
  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications;
  • Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues;
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware or software faults;
  • Contact vendors for support if there is a hardware issue or if a specific part has to be replaced;
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Good knowledge of English;
  • Bachelor's degree or higher;
  • Ability to learn quickly;
  • Flexibility about all aspects of the job.
