DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Software Engineer (Java) for our Singapore office to make the team even stronger.

Project technologies and tools

  • Java;
  • Unix Shell scripting;
  • Thunderhead Admin, BCS, BOS etc;

  • Collection framework (Interfaces);
  • File handling;
  • Multithreading;
  • IBM WebSphere MQ/JMS;

Responsibilities

  • Understand user requirements, design, build and maintain reusable codes;
  • Perform unit testing and non-functional testing;
  • Troubleshoot and debug application;
  • Provide technical directions and system architecture.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in Java development and working on Thunderhead product is a plus;
  • Experience in managing Thunderhead instances with knowledge on admin, business content studio, business object studio, user management etc;
  • Good hands-on experience in Spring, JMS, IBM MQ, Unix, Shell scripting, web service, Ant, JUnit, subversion, GitHub;
  • Development experience with the database is a plus;
  • Experience in designing and building applications;
  • Good understanding of software design and programming principles;
  • Team player with good communication skills;
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability;
  • Great attention to details;
  • Good time-management skills;
  • Able to work independently with little or no supervision;
  • Able to pick up new template development work if there is a need to do template development.
