We a looking for Java Developers interested in developing and learning about E-commerce with Hybris. EPAM Hybris course is designed to equip Software and Automation Engineers with a broad knowledge of the Hybris platform. First part of this course will familiarize you with platform core technologies, such as data modeling, ORM, service and façade layers, model and DTO objects, cron jobs, Back-office Storefront framework, workflow, security, cache, transaction management, validation framework, process engine and more.

Responsibilities

  • Build custom platform extensions;
  • Create new data structures;
  • Understand and re-use platform services;
  • Create background jobs for data processing/warehousing;
  • Customize and create new back-office applications;
  • Work with hybrids Product Content Management system;
  • Understand platform data caching;
  • Manage transaction and validation rules;
  • Work with Hybris workflow engine;
  • Effectively re-use B2C or B2B accelerator code;
  • Implement custom search and navigation strategies;
  • Understand Omnichannel architecture;
  • Create custom CMS components;
  • Change checkout flow;
  • Work with payment, promotion and order management extensions;
  • Work on integration with external systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Java development professional experience – Java Core, Java Web;
  • Proficiency in Spring framework – Spring Core, MVC, Integration;
  • Solid understanding of application design;
  • Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP);
  • Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies;
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML;
  • E-commerce experience;
  • Good communication skills, proficient in both spoken and written English.
