ABOUT PROJECT


This position is primarily responsible for working directly with our client and with the multiple stakeholders driving all programs within account from technology and product related activities taking to consideration industrial background. The Project Manager translates the vision of the work into a comprehensive plan and drives execution, while building a strong relationship with the team and client and establishing and standardization a right process. It`s not for a specific project. This person should be ready to handle multiple programs within an account or long term within organization with focusing on building a process around and coordinates all activities.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the team and track accountability of the program and drive the engagement;
  • Be responsible for helping run discovery and consulting engagements alongside other EPAM members from account managers to solution architects to practice heads, closely cooperation with delivery management team;
  • Manage clients’ expectations from deliverables perspective, cooperating with delivery management team;
  • Implement a continuous improvement process for the Program to keep the content fresh, drive current business objectives;
  • Lead cross-functional research and technology teams to achieve key program objectives within a portfolio. In collaboration with senior team members, formulate and execute the strategy for advancing programs to the next key milestone;
  • Ensure effective, accurate, appropriate and timely communication within cross functional teams to achieve key program objectives and provides updates on key issues and progress to senior management;
  • Proactively identify issues and provide general guidance to resolve program and team challenges. Can develop practical solutions to achieve program productivity and quality goals and objectives;
  • Develop, maintain and update integrated project/program plans, and ensures alignment of these plans across functions and with team leadership. Maintain knowledge of the current status, milestones, issues and key data for assigned programs and serves as the conduit of information and updates. Provide input and general guidance to the team for presentations and updates to management and outside collaborators where applicable;
  • Identify opportunities for standardization of processes and working/best practices and recommends a plan for implementation;
  • Remain aware of any potential problems and works to mitigate any risks.

Requirements

  • Strong program and product management skills in a highly technical environment;
  • Industrial domain knowledge;
  • Specific experience with management and knowledge of tools and resources to complete such exercises;
  • Experience establishing and managing the whole process and manage multiple programs in parallel;
  • Able to apply technical expertise and often contribute to the development of concepts, techniques and standards;
  • Experience working in a presales environment from solutioning to client communication is highly desired;
  • Knowledge of software development/product lifecycle, methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall) and IT roles;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill;
  • Solid business communication and time management skills are required.
