As an IoT Product Manager, you will be working in close collaboration with the Account and Delivery Management team to support customer projects. It is critical that you are able to ensure we have high quality story definitions and acceptance criteria required to deliver solutions that enable customers to meet their business goals.
The Product Manager is expected to understand the market, the customer, and the business in order to make sound decisions on product features, priorities, and backlog - working closely with engineering, program management, and stakeholders and definitional customers.
Translate product vision, strategy and roadmap into product definition that can be communicated to engineering, QA and customer-facing functions;
Ideate product strategy by deeply understanding both the end user and our clients;
Work closely with the product management, engineering leads and architects to ensure a deep understanding of product vision and priorities;
Understand the vision of a product from the point of view of all customer stakeholders (system administrators, end users, operations management, etc.);
Interact with customers and end users of the product to learn details for feature/product definition and prioritization;
Create epics, user stories and acceptance criteria from the business feature functionality presented by product management;
Collaborate with customer care and product support teams to understand the support needs and issues;
Prioritize, order and groom the product backlog, including working with Program Management to adjust stories as part of sprint planning;
Manage the feature request process and keep an updated release plan for the products you cover;
Give feedbacks regarding the achievement of the sprint goal in the sprint review;
Help the team to continuously improve their processes;
Define and measure delivery for meeting customer value proposition.
Strong experience working as a Product Manager for IoT projects;
Experience in a consultative, client-driven environment;
Strong analytical skills to accurately define requirements that contribute to a robust platform - help expand the quality of our thinking;
Passion for media technology and digital video;
Comfortable working in a geographically distributed organization;
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
Hands-on experience managing all phases of product lifecycle in an agile development environment;
Product management experience in large-scale customer-facing technology products, especially those that are SDK or partner based;
Self-organized with expert ability to prioritize activities and manage deliverables to completion in a high-pressure environment;
Experience working with UX creators to define customer experiences;
Demonstrated experience interacting with all levels of management.
