  • Manage test teams effectively;
  • Lead, review, and plan development and testing activities to ensure accurate test results, test data, and reporting;
  • Define the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery;
  • Define processes, procedures, best practices, coding standards, metrics for ensuring stability in automation frameworks;
  • Deploy and manage resources for testing;
  • Effectively communicate status, issues, and needs to the team, management, and internal customers;
  • Develop team members through coaching, mentoring, training, and technical guidance;
  • Organize demos and proof of concepts for new applications, tools, technologies, infrastructure, and processes;
  • Develop and increase team performance and collaboration across organization;
  • Provide testing strategies and approaches in alignment with overall organizational goals;
  • Apply appropriate test measurements and metrics to the product and the testing team.


  • Very strong testing lead background and can coordinate activities across many different teams (business, development, testing, Scrum masters);
  • Lots of experience leading testing in Agile teams;
  • Able to clearly articulate previous experience coordinating large testing efforts with many teams and organizations;
  • Able to describe test metrics and KPIs used on previous projects and other organizations;
  • Solid understanding of testing (what, how, when to test); basics of automation (when to use automation and how it should work) and basics of performance testing (how and what should be done);
  • Experience leading Agile teams, and proficient QA background (QA metrics, KPIs, status reporting).
