This opening is for the role of onsite Business Analyst for the Digital Merchant Onboarding project with our client, based in Dubai, UAE. The application primarily has three aspects – salesforce (for workflow management), a merchant portal (with UI & backend) and a TIBCO layer (to integrate with the legacy systems).

The current position is primarily for taking care of the merchant portal requirements, but also manage dependencies across the other applications. The candidates are expected to have considerable experience as Business Analyst in Agile development projects in client-facing roles. The candidate is expected to have relevant experience in end to end business analysis flow, from requirement gathering from the business/ PO, participation in prioritization sessions, epic/user story writing, attaining product owner sign off, user story grooming with the scrum team (located offshore), coordinating with offshore BAs, requirement clarifications with developers.

Candidates with prior application/portal experience especially with good practical & conceptual understanding of UI/UX/middleware/database will be a preference for this position.


  • Serve as a subject-matter expert and analyst/consultant, to understand customer’s needs, gather & document requirements;
  • Help clients understand the best mix of technologies, design solutions and services and how they should be delivered to maximise effectiveness;
  • Work and collaborate with various offshore and 3rd party suppliers, adapting your communications approach to meet the business demands;
  • Work to understand the intersection between technology, customers and business to cultivate business development opportunities;
  • Understand and stay abreast of current and emerging digital trends, unique opportunities and challenges of the space/markets and geographies in which the clients operate, and how it affects client’s business and initiatives;
  • Support from time to time in a consultative/pre-sales role on select digital engagements as needed and defined by the business and the client.


  • Strong general business analysis skills (multiple projects) & Agile BA experience - MANDATORY;
  • Good experience in client handling, especially onsite - MANDATORY;
  • Prior experience in working with portals with standard front-end (HTML, JS, etc.) & back-end (middleware, databases, etc.);
  • Good exposure to UI/UX best practices;
  • Experience in working in a multi-system environment and manage dependencies across them.
