DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Full Stack Developer for our Zurich office to make the team even stronger.

We are looking for an experienced Developer to come on board and support our operation in Zürich.
You will be working in the AML Transaction Monitoring team part of compliance and operational risk control IT based in Zürich. The main role of the team is to design and implement innovated IT solutions to help prevent, detect and report on financial crimes and terrorist financing activities. We are a global IT team supporting internal clients throughout the world.

Responsibilities

  • Develop features front-to-back in an Agile environment;
  • Support the engineering and integration of a vendor-based product;
  • Further optimize the Continuous Integration and deployment processes;
  • Support product management driving the product roadmap;
  • Work closely with and advise business analysts, testers and management on technical matters;
  • Work on product packaging and support deployment activities.

Requirements

  • Computer Science academic background (bachelor’s or master’s degree);
  • Long experience as a Full Stack Developer in a globally distributed team;
  • Strong Java skills;
  • Strong Linux scripting and administration skills;
  • Strong relational database and data analysis skills;
  • Methodology knowhow on how to ensure that project deliverables meet industry best practices;
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out);
  • Understanding of a broad range of platforms, technologies and tools, specifically Java, Linux, Oracle, GitHub, Nexus, TeamCity, IntelliJ, Jira, Confluence;
  • Flexible, resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills taking initiative to drive things forward;
  • Able to multitask and work on different projects in parallel, accurate and focused on deliverables;
  • Keen to develop subject matter expertise on our core vendor product and solutions overall;
  • An excellent communicator who can partner with business experts and end-users who might not be well versed in IT;
  • Fluent in English.
