Responsibilities

  • Communicate with on-site representatives in scope of Agile process;
  • Write high-quality, easy understandable and testable code following best practices;
  • Follow clean code conventions;
  • Mentor developers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial software development experience in Java;
  • Experience of playing the Key Developer role for 1+ year;
  • Strong expertise in Java 8;
  • Proficiency in Guice/ Spring or other DI framework;
  • Experience in microservices architecture;
  • Experience in RESTful services development;
  • Deep knowledge of RDBMS;
  • Confident understanding of TDD technique;
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging experience;
  • Familiarity with design patterns;
  • Knowledge of integration patterns;
  • Experience in *NIX systems;
  • Experience in XML processing and transformations (XPath, XSLT, etc.);
  • Experience in working with JSON;
  • Familiarity with Maven or Gradle build tools;
  • Acquaintance with CI/CD practices: experience in creation and configuration of jobs in Jenkins/Bamboo/TeamCity);
  • Scripting experience with Bash;
  • Experience in version control systems such as Git;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work effectively;
  • Being a team player;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English level (B2+).

Nice to have

  • Experience in working with such AWS services as: Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation, S3, EC2, CodePipeline;
  • Swagger/Open API;
  • OAuth2;
  • NoSQL;
  • Docker.
