Currently we are looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst for our Prague office to make the team even stronger.

A long-running project in EPAM systems ODC of Global Investment Bank is looking for a Support Analyst/System Engineer. The main function is to be a key resource for assisting developers in a Prague-based credit risk management team, which manages several risk regulatory capital systems. Core elements include support of the non-production environments, investigating tools and processes and integrating them, Environmental Management, automation tools.


  • Investigate production/non-production technical problems/bugs and provide resolution;
  • Own problems and drive them to resolution via Jira;
  • Interact with development teams, peers to gather and analyze problems/issues and deliver appropriate technical solutions, communicate with key stakeholders;
  • Deal with Environmental Management System and complete health checks;
  • Work closely with DevTeam/InfraTeam to integrate new deployment process and strategies to meet our feature requirements;
  • Work on automation tasks related to deployment process and improvements;
  • Write technical documentation and share it within the team;
  • Adhere to bank’s technical standards and SDLC principles;
  • Be a self-reliant performer, capable of working both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.


  • Hands-on tuning and troubleshooting experience as the 3rd line support for complex systems;
  • Exposure to Agile, ITIL and DevOps practices and approaches;
  • Knowledge of how applications are written, built, deployed and used by developers (Git/Bitbucket/TeamCity/Nexus Automation, etc.) and configuration management using the same tools;
  • Solid communication and coordination skills, English B1+ and higher;
  • Administration and support of Windows Server 2008 and up to 2016;
  • PowerShell scripting and related automation;
  • Database administration skills (MS SQL Server 2008 and up to 2016);
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a Scientific discipline.

Nice to have

  • Business domain knowledge of credit risk and regulatory capital;
  • Knowledge of .NET Framework and ability to understand/debug code;
  • Knowledge of R scripting.
