Our candidate is supposed to drive validation efforts on high and complex software projects. A SDET with technical capabilities and experience to create test plans and write software applications to automate testing of software features and data. The ideal candidate will partner EPAM and will contribute to our customers to enhance and maximize business relationships by applying knowledge and experience in data engineering, analytics, infrastructure, teams and tools to architect, implement and use applications, as well as create dashboards and reports to improve evaluation and quantification of the product’s quality.
Analyze software requirements;
Create test plans, develop test code and report results;
Automate complex technical tasks by creating testing framework that support reporting and analysis;
Create, debug and test code as part of the entire automation process.
Highly skilled individual experienced in software development, development automation, and QA Expertise;
Proficient at Quality Assurance methodologies and test execution;
Ability to plan and execute white-box testing;
Ability to plan and execute API testing;
Ability to execute tests manually as well and develop automation systems and scripts for automated testing;
Database experience (Query writing, testing, and troubleshooting);
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent;
4+ years as an Automation Engineer;
4+ years of Java experience;
1+ year as a Functional Tester;
Experience in redefining already created automation frameworks;
Understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming (OOP), frameworks and technologies;
High problem solving skills;
Expertise on at least one automation tool for web applications (i.e. Selenium WebDriver, Sikuli, Sahi, etc.);
Understanding of QA methodologies and processes;
Understanding of Agile methodologies;
Excellent spoken and written English skills;
OOP principle and design patterns, Java Core, Spring, ORM, CI/CD;
Level of seniority: L3.
Nice to have
Domain knowledge and previous experience working with finances, insurance, and annuities;
Experience working with Selenium WebDriver;
Experience in test cases design formal techniques;
