Our ideal candidate has exposure with all aspects of the user-centered design process, from user research to functional specification documentation to design implementation. This person will be involved in design and analysis of user research activities in order to leverage the findings into cohesive site architectures, wireframes, and functional specification documentation for mobile and web applications. The User Experience Designer will collaborate closely with CTO, Marketing Strategists, other Designers, Product Owners and developers to create the best possible user interactions and reshape entire Market-leading product lines of our TRBU portfolio.
Lead a team of 3-5 developers;
Design and create a complex web application;
Perform development from conception, user interface, and implementation;
Be involved in a code review process;
Do front-end work;
Improve the UX of the current application;
Be involved in performance improvement and bug fixing;
Collaborate with the customer to clarify business requirements.
Expert level of knowledge of HTML, CSS, web standards and how to apply them;
Real production experience with AngularJS1, AngularJS 2, or ReactJS;
Strong experience in Responsive design, mobile first techniques;
Strong experience in progressive enhancement techniques;
Strong experience in JS unit testing and code coverage;
Strong experience handling different browser capabilities;
Strong experience using build system tools such as Grunt or Gulp and module bundlers such as Webpack. Strong experience working with CSS pre-processors such as SASS or LESS;
Experience with RESTful Web Services;
Experience in Git or other version control systems;
Understanding of accessibility standards; good understanding of Node.js and NPM modules;
Understanding of best practices in designing loosely coupled and reusable UI components with clear responsibilities and encapsulated scopes.
