Responsibilities

  • Consult Health and Life Sciences practice development including strategy and market positioning; offering, asset, and thought leadership development; recruiting and hiring;
  • Advise upon, lead and work on high impact activities within the systems development lifecycle, and provide advisory work for the IT function itself;
  • Decompose key business problems to identify value areas and structure and implement complex business and technology solutions for the client;
  • Create innovative and differentiated offerings, staying relevant and in sync with Life Sciences market demand;
  • Deliver advisory services in support of technology enabled business change;
  • Identify and assess complex problems and create solutions that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors which are implemented by the team;
  • Supervise a team of consultants;
  • Design new business processes based on customer requirements, conduct user review sessions and run stakeholder agreement meetings;
  • Implement programs that prepare the organization for implementation of new business processes;
  • Identify the organizational impacts related to a specific change in process, technology, or any other project change and develop the change management plan;
  • Drive process performance improvement, diagnosing the problem, planning and leading the transformation;
  • Design solutions for moderate to complex organizational change challenges;
  • Collaborate with senior management at client and/or within EPAM, on matters such as aligning on target business outcomes and approaches;
  • Lead consulting engagements; responsible for creating detailed project work plans, managing activities and deliverables and providing feedback to team members and to client stakeholders;
  • Support pursuit, proposal development and costing management activities. Assist team in pre-sales activities. Deliver client presentations, workshops and work products;
  • Identify new business development opportunities as appropriate;
  • Proactively develop expertise in your specific practice area to increase your knowledge base and capabilities. Be aware of specific trends and challenges and develop EPAM’s ‘thought capital’ through involvement in industry-specific groups, speaking engagements, publishing, as well as internal firm wide development;
  • Help build the broader Business Consulting practice through participation in recruiting events, candidate interviews, and external networking opportunities;
  • Develop the vision and strategy for investment to business transformation. Define business case and roadmap to enhance and expand capabilities to enable strategy (Business Strategy & Transformation);
  • Help client drive top-line revenue growth and/ or bottom-line margins (Revenue Optimization and Cost Management).

Qualification

  • 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in management consulting within the Health and Healthcare Payer industry. A blend of corporate and management consulting experience is also acceptable;
  • Skilled at analyzing complex business issues with the ability to effectively communicate these issues to clients;
  • Able to anticipate and identify risks and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues as they occur;
  • Understanding of how to apply emerging technology solutions to Life Sciences processes;
  • Executive level communication skills are required;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Proven ability to expand/grow accounts and develop new business opportunities;
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to interface and build relationships with senior level business stakeholders;
  • Practical experience and understanding of the entire SDLC. Project management is preferred;
  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree. Additional education is appreciated;
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
