Currently we are looking for a Connectivity Software Development Manager for our Warsaw office to make the team even stronger.

The role is the key Software Development position responsible for the Connectivity CPE implementation of Connectivity Products & Services across client’s operating countries in order to enable the delivery of revenue growth primarily across our B2C unit.

As a Connectivity Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for the setup and running of Agile software development teams for embedded connectivity software. Running a mixture of onshore and offshore resources to achieve an efficient and scalable software factory. Client intends to use these teams as the seed for DevOps transformation of the wider business.

You will be the go to software development leadership role for our Products organization for both in-flight product development and our overall technology strategy to support growth and customer proposition plans around the Connectivity portfolio. You will also manage the resources, responsible for interfacing between the wider business and development teams. In addition, you will lead CPE technology development activities across Europe and must inspire and motivate in a way that leverages the collective talent across all markets and align individuals around the Customer Value Proposition.

This role focuses on achieving wider Technology objectives around scale, cost efficiency, speed to market and quality. The candidate will be accountable for delivering the Software that will power the next generation of connectivity devices, with exceptional stability and quality; ensuring timely delivery of technically ready products and services that can be taken to market.


  • Manage CPE SW delivery teams;
  • Perform (Technical) Vendor Management;
  • Own the set-up of Development Environment and Development of CPE Software;
  • Own the development, integration and validation of CPE Software;
  • Own the documentation of operational/technical knowledge;
  • Evaluate (Technical) Vendor Solutions;
  • Contribute to product design discussions on overall software feature/interop compatibility across different platforms;
  • Have the necessary technical skills to communicate the details of complex Data, VoIP, Gateway, Wi-Fi, and Video features;
  • Communicate regularly with key customers to manage expectations regarding key software deliverables;
  • Communicate regularly with executive management teams and operations to de-risk deployment issues that will affect deployments;
  • Manage and take care of the teams.


  • At least 8+ years’ experience in software development and system integration;
  • At least 4+ years working in an Agile/Scrum environment;
  • MSc degree level in a relevant area (network-, communications- or consumer electronics engineering);
  • Proven track record in software governance and software change control;
  • Deep CPE hardware and software development/industrialization knowledge and experience;
  • Wide understanding of IP networking as well as data center infrastructure;
  • Good overall knowledge of/familiarity with telecommunications technologies, including Wi-Fi, DOCSIS and Ethernet, as well as most current IP communication protocols;
  • Experience in business transformation and managing Agile teams;
  • IP Networking protocols (IPv4, IPv6, RIPv2, SNMP, DHCP, TFTP, FTP, TCP, UDP);
  • DOCSIS specifications, protocols, test procedures and debugging (D3.0, D3.1);
  • PacketCable 1.5 and 2.0 specifications, protocols, test procedures and debugging;
  • VoIP system architectures and network elements;
  • Home Networking Protocols (HNAP, UPNP, RIPv2, TR69, etc.);
  • Wireless (802.11b/g/n/ac) including wireless encryption (WPA2, WPA, WEP), WPS, DFS, and WMM;
  • CCSP and RDK-B Routing Stacks;
  • Agile (Scrum) Development Methodology;
  • Programming languages: C, C++, Java;
  • Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (Linux, eCos);
  • Debug skills covering: IP networking, MGCP/NCS and SIP signaling protocols, DNS, DHCP, TFTP, RTP, Video, routers and routing protocols, data load testing and redundant/fault tolerant configurations;
  • Able to co-create and execute architectural landscape and roadmap;

  • Fluent spoken and written English – ideally other European languages.
